Its all about the polka dots!!!

K so I have made a decision! Polka dots are Definitely gonna be part of the wedding! Have any of you seen the movie 'Because I said So'? Super cute wedding at the end...This pic is the cake at the wedding, I would keep the Black and white dots and then replace the red roses with whatever color I decide to use. Yes I still haven't decided even that!!! I want hot pink...but then I keep going back to green, then I think like a purple, but then I change again... so not sure yet on that one! But the cake is a for sure!!!!! I LOVE IT!! Ill probably end up spending the most on just that...but its just too darn cute to pass up!!!!!

colors...

Im trying to decide on colors! I know i want black and white for sure... if its a June wedding i want something bright and pretty! So i'm either thinking hot pink, or like a yellow and green! I cant freaking decide!!! What do you guys think for June?????

Just getting started..

So I got Engaged!! Most of you probably already heard that but some of you might not of heard the news yet! So first of all let me tell you how it happened........ So I won another trip at work so we sent sail on April 4th 2009 from Tampa Florida to the Western Caribbean! We went to Costa Maya, Mexico and Belize City, Belize. We had such a great time! I had never been on a Cruise and neither had Leon so we wanted to make it the best time and I think we succeeded! On Sunday the 5th was the formal dinner night. We got all dressed up and went to the dining room to have dinner. We had dinner with 2 other couples from work and then after Leon wanted to go on a walk out on the deck. It was a beautiful night out and that's where he popped the question! He started by telling me how much he loves me and how much his daughter loves me and then busted out the ring. Its such a pretty ring...very different then most out there right now. His exact words were " I would get down on one knee but its super wet out here!" ha ha...we were all dressed up still so that was OK with me. Obviously i said Yes! We spent the rest of the cruise celebrating our engagement with our friends and having the time of our life...on Rent A Center no less! Sometimes I love my job! What I want to do is something a little different, I want you all to be part of my wedding plans! I will post blogs often stating what I'm thinking and what I have planned. We are thinking the wedding will be June of next year. I would love any suggestions or ideas you might have or even just comments on our planning progress. I have never done any of this blogging stuff so hopefully it will be fun and exciting! You might notice the Pay Pal donation button on my page as well...Everyone knows times are tough and we are wondering how we are gonna pull off paying for this wedding when things are the way they are these days. We also got custody of Leon's 7 year old daughter Anjuli last November so trying to save plus live is a little bit trickier since I wasn't planning on children so soon :) She is a cutie though and we love having her around to harass and hang out with! So anything will help! Don't feel obligated we aren't expecting it but anything extra will be greatly appreciated in making our day that much more special! I hope you will keep up with my posts and pictures and thanks for being a part of it!!
